We empower teens to become change agents within their families, schools, and neighborhoods. Our program is grounded in the understanding that limited access to health education can lead to a lifetime of social, emotional, and physical challenges. The Opportunity HealthCorps is launching a new Growth & Strategic Partnerships Division, and the VP of Strategic Partnerships & Growth will be its architect, engine, and external face. You'll hold a broad, high-impact portfolio: leading HealthCorps' national funder and strategic partnerships, driving development, grant management, and fundraising, shaping our brand and marketing, and growing our alumni, community, and hub partnership work. You won't do it alone. A national team, along with program managers across our hubs, will help you build and execute this vision. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will hold your own portfolio of partnerships, work closely with leadership to develop and execute strategies that meet HealthCorps' revenue and growth goals, and represent HealthCorps externally at donor meetings, funder convenings, and sector events. This is an ideal role for a mission-aligned leader who can prospect a health system executive and coach a marketing manager in the same week, someone energized by both the hunt and the build. For-profit and private sector backgrounds are strongly welcomed. If you have driven revenue, built partnerships, and told a compelling brand story, in any sector, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do External Relationship Strategy, Cultivation & Maintenance (30%) Serve as a key external relationship officer alongside the CEO, cultivating and stewarding relationships across health systems, corporate sponsors, school districts, foundations, and community organizations. Design and lead a comprehensive partnership strategy spanning grant, sponsor, and programmatic relationships that aligns funder priorities with organizational growth goals. Build and manage a robust pipeline of new and emerging partnership opportunities, cultivating prospects from first touch through qualification. Steward existing partners to deepen loyalty, increase lifetime value, and drive renewals and upgrades. Track funding trends and shifting funder priorities to position HealthCorps ahead of major market shifts. Pitching, Proposals & Partner Stewardship (25%) Own the full partnership sales cycle for mid-tier and emerging opportunities, from first outreach through close and activation. Develop pitches, proposals, and grant applications that translate HealthCorps' outcomes data into a compelling, fundable case for support. Partner with the CEO and leadership to identify, solicit, and close transformational sponsorships for the major annual fundraiser and national and hub-level programming. Demonstrate ongoing value to existing partners through exceptional stewardship that keeps them connected to our mission and measurable impact. Brand Strategy & Voice (20%) Set strategic tone and direction for the HealthCorps brand across all external-facing channels and oversee the Marketing Manager in executing it across social media, website, newsletters, and press. Lead the design and execution of a brand and communications strategy that builds awareness and trust across funders, partners, and the broader public. Partner with program teams to translate research-validated impact data and stories into compelling, consistent external narratives. Develop partner-facing collateral — partnership decks, impact reports, and stakeholder communications — that reflect the quality of the organization. Represent HealthCorps at conferences, sector events, and media opportunities alongside the CEO and program leaders. Hub, Community & Alumni Partnerships (15%) Build local advisory committees that connect HealthCorps to local civic, education, and philanthropic leaders, in partnership with the Alumni & Community Manager and Program Directors. Strengthen HealthCorps' presence in each market by partnering with local teams to plan events, cultivate partnerships, and raise the organization's visibility. Cultivate and engage HealthCorps' alumni as a strategic community, building a strong, active network and connecting alumni to advisory roles, volunteer opportunities, and local partnerships that extend our reach. Division Leadership & Team Management (10%) Lead and develop a high-performing team: Senior Manager of Development, Marketing Manager, Director of Events (part-time), and Alumni & Community Manager. Serve as a player-coach who models the work while developing others, holding your own partnership portfolio while coaching the team toward revenue and relationship goals. Establish and monitor division KPIs across pipeline, revenue, and brand performance, reporting to the CEO and Board to ensure measurable ROI. Manage the division budget and contribute to organization-wide strategic planning as a member of the leadership team. Who You Are You are a relationship-builder, a closer, and a brand thinker.
