Job Description
The Executive Director oversees administration of all services and programs and serves as liaison with partner agencies. This salaried exempt position is responsible for ensuring that office operations, personnel management, and service delivery meet all regulatory and organizational standards. The Executive Director works closely with state and federal partners, maintains compliance with licensing requirements, and ensures collaboration across departments including Program Oversight, Training, Financing, and Accounting. The role includes staying current with applicable Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs), regulatory updates, and trends within Developmental Disabilities (DD) services to guide organizational effectiveness. Requirements
- Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules and relevant regulatory agencies.
- Understanding of Federal and State partner policies related to service delivery.
- Experience overseeing program or service operations in a regulated environment.
- Experience supervising staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Familiarity with fiscal management and budget oversight.
- Ability to maintain professional communication with regulatory partners, licensing entities, and internal departments (moved to Employer Notes if containing restricted phrasing). Employer Notes
- Must be able to ensure compliance with State Licensing Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to oversee cooperative processes with CMS, OHA, and licensing or investigative personnel.
- Must be able to remain knowledgeable of staff duties, job descriptions, and current regulatory standards.
- Must be able to review and verify staff qualifications in coordination with oversight and training departments.
- Must be able to stay current with literature and trends in DD services.
- Must be able to support financial and operational stability through coordination with
Accounting and Finance. Job Duties
- Provide general administration and oversight of all services and programs.
- Direct the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of staff and managers.
- Communicate state and federal policies to staff and ensure consistent application.
- Maintain compliance with licensing, regulatory, and investigative bodies.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and departmental coordination.
- Review qualifications and performance of staff in partnership with oversight departments.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to inform organizational practices.
Hours
Full& #8209;time, salaried (exempt) position. Standard business hours with additional hours as required for leadership needs. Wages/Benefits
