Job Description
Pacific Retirement Services, Inc. (PRS), a national not-for-profit leader in senior living and healthcare, seeks a collaborative, strategic, and visionary leader to serve as its inaugural President, Foundation. Based in Medford, Oregon, PRS is guided by its mission to empower people to lead meaningful lives as they age, delivering high-quality housing, services, and community-based programs across a diverse national footprint. With approximately $400 million in combined owned and managed revenue, 12Life Plan Communities, and 25 affordable housing communities, PRS serves a broad and growing population of older adults. Its communities span major urban centers such as Portland, Seattle, and Fort Worth, as well as vibrant university towns including Tempe, Eugene, Albuquerque, Davis, and Madison. PRS also advances its mission through safe, secure housing for low-income seniors and a robust volunteer network supporting vulnerable populations throughout southern Oregon. Reporting to the President & CEO, the President, Foundation will serve as the senior philanthropic leader for PRS and a key member of the executive team, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive, diversified fundraising strategy aligned with organizational priorities to strengthen long-term sustainability and impact. This leader will foster a high-performing, mission-driven culture grounded in collaboration and accountability while serving as a visible ambassador for PRS. The President, Foundation will build strong relationships with executive leadership, the Board, donors, residents, and community stakeholders to enhance engagement, retention, and transformational giving. The role will also establish the Foundation's operational infrastructure, including systems for performance management, financial oversight, and donor stewardship. In close partnership with the Board, the President, Foundation will strengthen governance and philanthropic alignment, elevate PRS' external presence, and use data-driven insights to inform strategy and provide clear, actionable reporting to leadership and the Board. The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, deep fundraising expertise, and a demonstrated ability to build and scale philanthropic programs.
