Position Summary:

Ready to launch your sales career with a leading name in transportation? Join Penske Truck Leasing's Remarketing team and gain hands-on experience sellingmercial vehicles in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment. You'll connect with retail and wholesale customers, follow up with leads and previous purchasers, generate new business through proactive outbound prospecting, and identify opportunities beyond those who initially express interest. Along the way, you'll build a strong foundation in prospecting, customer engagement, time management, follow-up, negotiation and closing, developing the skills and industry knowledge to grow your career in sales and business development at Penske.

Major Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to retail and wholesale web and field leads, previous purchasers, inquirers that did not purchase and other prospects to generate new sales

Effectively managing time to contact as many customers as possible.

Finding additional customers above and beyond those who express interest.

Follow-up calls, setting appointments

Take inbound calls when necessary to handle call volume and as part of ongoing training

Assist with managing inventory on various auction websites

Other projects as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

High school diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.

Some sales or customer service experience required

Must have excellent customer service skills

Must have written and oralmunication skills

Proficiency with windows based programs required

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required scle, work at the specific location required,plete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment,cation, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
