We are seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to lead and develop the teams responsible for customer support, quoting, purchasing, administrative services, and accounting functions. What You'll Do Key Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and support teams responsible for accounting, quoting, purchasing and administrative functions. Establish departmental goals, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives. Ensure timely and accurate customer quotations, purchasing activities, and administrative processes. Partner with operations, engineering, and sales teams to align customer expectations with business capabilities. Monitor departmental performance, customer satisfaction, and key business metrics to drive operational excellence. Oversee budgets, purchasing expenditures, and financial reporting activities within assigned departments. Analyze business processes and implement improvements that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience. Support strategic planning, forecasting, audits, customer visits, and organizational growth initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is strictly required due to national defense and aerospace compliance requirements. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 5+ years of leadership or management experience. Experience overseeing administrative, accounting, purchasing, or business operations functions. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make sound decisions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) as well as other organizational/planning tools Strong attention to detail. Experience within manufacturing, engineering services, materials testing, or a technical environment preferred. Knowledge of quoting, purchasing, accounting, and customer relationship management processes preferred. Experience developing KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
