Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Manger to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in providing support and care for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective communication, individualized care plans, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The Assistant manger will play a vital role in ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for clients with intellectual disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers about our agency. Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' needs and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and incident reports using appropriate medical terminology. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is essential, particularly in working with individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and the ability to interpret medical terminology is required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation responsibilities.
