Operating across 6 states, we specialize in high-velocity repair, inspection, and maintenance services for large regional and national commercial chains. We operate a lean, high-performing corporate model backed by advanced field management software (Fieldpoint) and an ironclad financial position. We hold master electrical licenses in NJ, PA,WV and soon in OH . We are leveraging this core asset to launch a dedicated Commercial Electrical Service Division. We are not hunting local single-site residential or small commercial work; we are replicating our proven security model by partnering directly with national facilities maintenance (FM) aggregators and corporate integrated facilities management (IFM) giants to handle high-volume work orders and small projects. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, operationally sound, and growth-minded Business Manager to stand up, scale, and lead this new division.
The Position & Mission:
As the Business Manager, you will be given the full backing of our executive team, corporate capital, and advanced software ecosystem to build this division from the ground up. You will own both the sales operations (national partner onboarding) and field operations (technician recruitment and dispatch) . Your immediate mission in the first 90 days will be to clear the compliance pipeline with master national aggregators, establish our technician footprint, and position us to catch the immediate wave of incoming commercial work orders across our 4-state licensed corridor.
Key Responsibilities:
National Account Onboarding:
Lead the strategic outreach and enrollment of our entity into Tier-1 and Tier-2 national facilities maintenance portals.
Contract & Rate Negotiation:
Position our multi-state licensing leverage to negotiate our rates and terms.
Work Order & Portal Logistics:
Work with our current ops and admin team to assign and close WO's and projects and produce the highest level of customer service for our new clients.
Field Talent Acquisition:
Recruit, hire, and onboard the division's initial core team of versatile Commercial Service Electricians across the territory.
Manage Growth:
Manage the division's strategic operational growth and work with the executive team to execute a road map for future expansion.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of dual experience in both Sales Operations and Field Operations specifically within the commercial electrical contracting industry.
National Network Familiarity:
Proven track record of interacting with, bidding to, or managing work for national corporate aggregators or commercial retail chains.
Tech-Savvy Logistics:
Deep familiarity with work order management platforms and vendor portals.
Licensing/Code Knowledge:
Strong understanding of commercial electrical compliance, safety, and permitting. (Holding your own active or past electrical credentials is a major plus, though the company provides the master licenses). The "Builder"
Mindset:
Ability to work autonomously without middle management. You must be comfortable navigating multiple facets of the new division including sales, operations and finances.
