This is not an Executive Assistant role. This is a high-ownership, high-exposure role for someone who enjoys building, problem-solving, and operating in entrepreneurial environments. You will serve as a force multiplier for leadership, helping drive execution across strategic initiatives, community growth, partnerships, events, operations, and ecosystem development. The ideal candidate is someone who naturally takes ownership, thrives in ambiguity, and enjoys turning ideas into action. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to startup founders, investors, physicians, and innovation leaders while helping build one of Southern California's emerging MedTech communities. What You'll Do Strategic Initiatives Work directly with the Founder on high-priority projects Help drive execution across organizational priorities Assist with strategic planning and initiative management Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and impact Operations & Execution Help oversee day-to-day operations across the organization Build and improve systems, workflows, and processes Coordinate projects across multiple stakeholders Ensure initiatives move forward and deadlines are met Community & Ecosystem Growth Support community engagement and member experience Help strengthen relationships across the ecosystem Coordinate founder, investor, physician, and partner interactions Assist with growth initiatives and outreach efforts Events & Partnerships Help plan and execute high-impact events and gatherings Support sponsor and partner relationships Coordinate speakers, attendees, and stakeholders Ensure exceptional event experiences and follow-through AI & Systems Leverage tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, HubSpot, and automation platforms to improve productivity and create scalable systems Help implement AI-enabled workflows and operational improvements Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and increase organizational leverage Ideal Candidate You might be a fit if you: Are highly organized and execution-oriented Take initiative without waiting for direction Enjoy solving problems and creating structure Communicate clearly and professionally Thrive in fast-moving environments Are curious, resourceful, and adaptable Have strong attention to detail Enjoy building relationships and bringing people together Are excited by startups, healthcare, innovation, and entrepreneurship Great Backgrounds Include Startup operators Aspiring founders Bachelor's degree or graduate students Operations professionals Community builders Program managers Project managers Business development professionals Healthcare or MedTech experience is a plus, but not required.
