Job Description
ENSPRYNG.
You will balance autonomy, organizational savvy, and operational excellence while actively contributing to our vibrant Commercial Portfolio Organization (CPO) Operations and Administration Community. Proactively manage complex executive calendars across domestic and international time zones, exercising astute judgment to balance high-priority business demands, confidential matters, and stakeholder access. Partner closely with Squad Operations to design, organize, and execute operational cadences, including drafting rolling agendas, prepping executive materials, and leading large-scale offsites, national field meetings, and departmental workshops. Lead and implement internal engagement and communications strategies, drafting executive communications, overseeing digital collaboration hubs (gSites, newsletters), and maintaining team alignment. Serve as a central connector and project lead across cross-functional teams, managing vendor/speaker contracts, RFP processes, invoices, and purchase orders with rigorous resource sensitivity. Drive team operational health and culture by spearheading space planning initiatives, leading full-cycle onboarding logistics for new hires, and serving as a trusted thought partner on team engagement and pulse checks. Actively pilot and champion modern digital tools, workflows, and best practices across the CPO Administration community to foster a continuous learning and improvement environment. Who you are You bring an average of 5-10 years of related administrative, operations, or project management experience supporting senior leadership teams. You hold a proven track record of handling highly confidential and proprietary business information with the utmost discretion and integrity. You possess demonstrated mastery in independently prioritizing, planning, and executing complex workflows, large-scale events, and project initiatives across matrixed organizations. You demonstrate advanced fluency with enterprise productivity and collaboration tools (including Google Workspace, gMail, gCal, gSheets, gSlides, gMeet, as well as Zoom and digital site builders). You possess a Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent industry experience. Preferred Prior administrative or operational experience within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Previous experience navigating the Genentech or Roche enterprise network, culture, and matrixed operating models. Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, or instructing peers on productivity tools, systems, and standardized administrative processes. Background in supporting commercial, medical, or regulatory affairs squads within rare diseases or specialty therapeutic areas. Location This role is based in South San Francisco and offers a hybrid schedule working 3 day per week on campus No relocation benefits are available for this posting The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of CA is $90,000 -$167,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
