Job Duties:
Owns investment strategy, portfolio outcomes, and team leadership, driving high-impact decisions and shaping firm direction. Define sector strategies and investment priorities. Lead evaluation of complex transactions and capital allocation decisions. Interpret macro, industry, and capital markets trends to guide strategy. Establish firm-wide analytical frameworks and standards. Oversee all diligence processes and ensure consistency and rigor. Guide team in identifying key risks, value drivers, and strategic considerations. Engage directly with company leadership and stakeholders. Serve as senior advisor and/or board representative. Drive strategic initiatives (growth, restructuring, capital optimization). Oversee portfolio construction and performance at a firm level. Maintain relationships with founders and key ecosystem partners. Oversee firm-wide data strategy and reporting infrastructure. Ensure insights from data inform strategic decisions. Lead internal and external performance communication. Lead and develop the investment team, including hiring and performance management. Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure execution across initiatives. Build team culture, mentorship, and professional development. Drive firm-level initiatives across strategy, platform, and operations. Full-time telecommuting is an option.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.Special Skill Requirements:
Financial modeling / analysis (6 years); Investment memo preparation; Due diligence execution; Market analysis; Data management and reporting; Capital structure analysis; Decision analysis; Microsoft excel (6 years); Pitchbook (3 years); Factset (3 years).
