About the Role The Management Trainee - Quality Assurance Specialist supports daily laboratory and quality assurance operations within the manufacturing process. This role focuses on yarn quality monitoring, laboratory testing, raw material management, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to help ensure stable and consistent production quality. This position is designed as a development-track role for candidates interested in building long-term careers in textile manufacturing, quality assurance, and production operations. The trainee will work closely with laboratory personnel, technicians, raw material teams, and production departments to gain hands-on experience across textile testing, quality systems, and manufacturing operations. Due to the cross-functional nature of the role and frequent communication with global teams and technical leadership, Mandarin Chinese and English bilingual proficiency is required . Responsibilities 1. Laboratory & Quality Operations Support daily textile laboratory operations with emphasis on product quality, consistency, and testing accuracy Assist in monitoring yarn quality indicators and other laboratory testing results Support development and improvement of laboratory procedures and quality control processes Help maintain accurate testing records, reports, and documentation 2. Raw Material Management & Planning Assist in managing raw material contracts, delivery schedules, and inventory coordination Work closely with production teams to plan daily raw material usage based on production needs Monitor raw material quality and key fiber parameters to ensure consistency and compliance with production standards Support raw material testing, tracking, and quality analysis to identify potential quality risks or variations Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and production teams to support stable material supply and production continuity 3. Production & Process Support Learn equipment setting adjustment and key parts configuration during production changeovers Assist technical and production teams in optimizing machine settings and process parameters for different yarn specifications and raw material conditions Work closely with production, quality, and technical teams to analyze quality issues and support corrective actions Assist in investigating production or quality concerns and communicate findings to management Learn the relationship between laboratory testing results and production performance 4. Training & Cross-Functional Development Participate in hands-on training across laboratory and production operations Learn textile manufacturing processes from bale opening through spinning and quality testing Support communication and coordination between laboratory personnel and other departments Perform additional tasks and operational assignments as directed by management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred Strong interest in textile manufacturing and quality assurance Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication and organizational abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to learn technical equipment, testing procedures, and production processes Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Previous textile or manufacturing internship experience is a plus Mandarin Chinese and English bilingual proficiency required Work Environment Full-time, on-site position located in Lancaster County, South Carolina Manufacturing and laboratory environment with exposure to cotton dust and industrial noise Frequent interaction with production, technical, quality, warehouse, and raw material teams Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance

$48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
