Job Description
Job Summary Join our family owned company with over 30yrs experience that focuses on customer service, but also understands the importance of spending time with family. As a Manager Trainee/Technician, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to develop your skills in order to efficiently run the branch. This entry-level role offers an exciting pathway to grow into a managerial position while gaining hands-on experience with pump maintenance, diagnostics and repair. You will work alongside the owner to learn technical skills, customer interaction strategies and day to day operations, setting the foundation for a successful career in the pump industry. We want someone that is eager, honest, dependable and willing to learn, to grow with us and take over operations. Your salary will continue to grow as we do along with bonuses. You will be given a company truck, cell phone, laptop, fuel card and company credit card. Responsibilities Pump repairs and servicing rental units as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform diagnostic tests and repairs. Conduct inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and maintenance procedures clearly and professionally when capable. Help ensure adequate inventory Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards and dealership protocols Continue to take on more tasks as able, to become the branch manager in a timely manner. Qualifications Pump experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Mechanical knowledge Willingness to learn. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Parts changer This role is perfect for a motivated individual eager to develop technical expertise while gaining valuable experience to become the branch manager.
