Our General Managers play a critical role in driving operational excellence, developing employees, and building lasting customer relationships. What You'll do: Lead Operations o Oversee all day-to-day dealership operations to ensure safety, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. o Lead all department managers while creating a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. o Ensure company facilities, equipment, inventory, and assets are maintained and protected. o Manage third-party vendors and contracted service providers. o Monitor purchasing trends, market conditions, and vendor performance to improve cost control and availability. o Partner with warehouse and branch leadership to improve inventory accuracy and inventory movement. o Support operational planning to ensure service departments and customers receive parts and equipment in a timely manner. Drive Business Growth o Develop and execute sales and operational strategies that increase revenue and profitability. o Review financial performance, key metrics, and operational results while identifying opportunities for improvement. o Establish location goals and hold department leaders accountable for achieving results. o Maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry partners. Develop Your Team o Coach, mentor, and develop department managers and future leaders. o Conduct regular leadership meetings to improve communication and operational alignment. o Partner with Human Resources to recruit, retain, and develop top talent. o Foster a positive workplace culture built on accountability, professionalism, and customer service. Ensure Operational Excellence o Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. o Resolve complex customer and employee concerns with professionalism and urgency. o Partner with the Executive Team to develop strategic initiatives that support long-term company growth. o Lead by example through integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic. What We're Looking For Five or more years of leadership experience in the service, transportation, tank trailer, heavy equipment, trucking, or related industry preferred. Proven experience managing multiple departments and leading managers. Strong financial acumen with experience reviewing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance. Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills. Ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and employees. Experience developing business strategies that improve profitability and operational performance. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ERP/CRM systems such as Salesforce. Positive attitude with a hands-on leadership style. Physical Requirements Ability to work in both an office and shop environment. Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
