What You'll Do As an Assistant Manager, you will help drive the success of the community by supporting operations, financial performance, resident satisfaction, and team collaboration while delivering the elevated standards expected within a luxury environment. Operational & Financial Excellence Manage rent collections, daily deposits, account balances, and month-end closeouts with accuracy and urgency Maintain delinquency goals below 2% through proactive communication, collections, and resident relationship management Assist with reporting, invoices, renewals, lease file compliance, and overall property administration Support occupancy and revenue goals through strong operational execution Luxury Resident Experience Deliver a hospitality-focused experience that creates lasting impressions and resident loyalty Build strong relationships with residents, vendors, and team members while maintaining professionalism and discretion Handle resident concerns with confidence, urgency, and a solutions-focused mindset Ensure all resident interactions reflect the elevated standards and brand expectations of LUMA Residential Leadership & Team Support Assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations and leadership responsibilities Step confidently into leadership during Property Manager absences Support leasing and marketing initiatives while helping drive traffic, conversions, and renewals Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability, communication, and results Who You Are We're looking for a highly organized, polished professional who understands both luxury service and operational excellence. You'll thrive in this role if you: Have a minimum of 2 years of continuous apartment industry experience in an Assistant Manager, Leasing, or property operations role Have strong collections experience with a proven ability to manage delinquency effectively Possess excellent customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills Present yourself professionally and confidently in a luxury environment Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting Have experience with Yardi or other property management software systems Are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel Have knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing practices Are tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile applications, digital communication tools, and property management technology Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and current automobile insurance Demonstrate a strong work ethic, accountability, and a team-first attitude Preferred Experience Luxury apartment community experience strongly preferred Experience with high resident expectations and upscale customer service environments preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Why Join LUMA Residential?
