We handle all makes and models, with particular expertise in luxury and electric vehicles. We are OEM‑certified, I‑CAR Gold Class, and aluminum‑certified. We use only manufacturer OEM parts and stand behind our repairs with a lifetime warranty. autocraftbodywerks.com+2autocraftbodywerks.com+2 Position Summary The General Manager at our San Marcos location will be responsible for overseeing all operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction. This role will lead the facility to meet production, quality, financial, and safety targets, ensuring Autocraft's high standards are consistently met. The General Manager will drive operational excellence, manage staff, uphold certifications, and serve as a key point of leadership in the facility. Key Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the San Marcos center: production, repair quality, customer service, parts, paint, body work, aluminum repair, etc. Ensure that all repairs meet OEM and manufacturer‑certified standards and that the facility maintains required certifications (e.g. I‑CAR Gold Class, aluminum repair, other manufacturer approvals).
Manage financial outcomes:
budgets, cost control, profitability, and performance metrics. Lead, hire, train, mentor, and manage staff across departments (technicians, painters, customer service, parts, etc.). Maintain excellent relationships with insurance companies, parts suppliers, and OEM partners. Drive customer satisfaction, including communication, transparency, repair timelines, quality checks, and lifetime warranty processes. Implement and monitor safety, quality, and environmental standards. Work with senior leadership to plan for capacity, investments in tools / technology / training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal Qualifications Substantial experience (7‑10+ years) in collision repair operations or automotive body shop management, especially in luxury, electric, or OEM‑certified repair environments. Deep technical understanding of body work, paint, frame alignment, aluminum repair, OEM standards. Extensive experience using CCC1 Proven track record of managing teams, budgets, profit & loss, and operational metrics. Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Experience working with insurance providers and OEM certification or compliance. Commitment to high quality, attention to detail, customer service excellence.
