The Business Continuity Manager is a key member of the Office of Enterprise Business Resilience and plays an important role in supporting and advancing the Bank's enterprise-wide Business Continuity Program. Reporting to the Business Continuity Leader, this position helps strengthen organizational resilience by ensuring the Bank can effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions. This role partners closely with business leaders, technology teams, risk management, and other stakeholders to implement resilience strategies, improve preparedness, and support regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and trusted advisor who can drive program execution while promoting a culture of resilience across the organization. Key Responsibilities Business Continuity Program Leadership Support execution of the enterprise Business Continuity Program strategy, roadmap, and maturity objectives. Lead initiatives that strengthen organizational resilience, preparedness, and recovery capabilities. Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory developments and recommend program enhancements. Contribute subject matter expertise to support the ongoing evolution of business continuity and resilience practices. Program Execution & Governance Lead core program activities including Business Impact Analyses (BIA), risk assessments, continuity planning, testing, training, and program oversight. Develop and maintain policies, standards, procedures, and governance processes that support a consistent enterprise-wide approach. Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations, industry standards, and organizational risk objectives. Partner with business and technology teams to establish and validate recovery requirements and continuity plans. Identify resilience gaps and opportunities to strengthen continuity capabilities across the organization. Enterprise Collaboration Build strong working relationships across business units, technology, corporate functions, and risk teams. Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on continuity planning, recovery strategies, and resilience initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional efforts related to preparedness, testing, recovery planning, and resilience improvement activities. Promote accountability and engagement in support of Business Continuity Program requirements. Testing & Continuous Improvement Design, coordinate, and evaluate business continuity exercises, including tabletop and enterprise-wide simulations. Analyze test results and lessons learned to drive corrective actions and program enhancements. Track remediation activities and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance resilience and preparedness. Risk, Reporting & Regulatory Support Prepare management, committee, and board-level reporting on program effectiveness, preparedness, and emerging risks. Support internal audits, regulatory examinations, and enterprise risk management activities. Assist with remediation of audit findings, examination observations, and identified risk issues. Maintain governance processes that demonstrate compliance and program effectiveness. Leadership & Development Provide guidance, coaching, and support to continuity professionals and key stakeholders. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Support enterprise training and awareness efforts that strengthen resilience capabilities throughout the organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Emergency Management, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline. Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across business and technology organizations. Strong understanding of business continuity frameworks, resilience principles, risk assessment methodologies, continuity planning, and testing practices. Experience preparing executive-level presentations, communications, and reporting materials. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. Ability to influence and drive results in a matrixed environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience within banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry. Professional certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, MBCI, CISA, CRISC, PMP, or similar credentials. Knowledge of operational resilience, third-party risk, supplier resilience, and disaster recovery regulatory requirements. Experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, and enterprise risk management activities. Previous leadership or people management experience. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range:
$110,000
  • $135,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location.
