Job Description

Windham Solid Waste Management District (WSWMD) in Brattleboro VT is HIRING We are seeking our next Executive Director to replace our retiring director. This is a full-time position on-site with competitive pay and 100% benefits in 90 days. WSWMD is a Vermont Municipal District, created for the purpose of providing services "managing solid waste, recyclable materials, organic material, and exempt hazardous waste generated within member municipalities." per the VT Statute Title 24 Appendix Municipal Charters Chapter 417 We are a full-service transfer station.

//windhamsolidwaste.org/ The Executive Director serves as the CEO of the organization, partnering closely with the Board of Supervisors, member towns, and staff. The Director is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the WSWMD overall, including its operations, programs, finances, and employees. This includes day-to-day routine tasks and actively promoting sources of revenue, problem-solving, innovation, and imagination.
