A Chief of Staff plans and directs all administrative, financial, and operational activities for the organization's President, CEO or other executive. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making. Acts as a point of contact or gatekeeper between top management and other stakeholders. Provides oversight and guidance to projects of high importance. May act as an advisor to the chief executive, or responsible for the management of executive support staff. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.

Your responsibilities will include driving all organization business operations, leading short
  • and long-term business planning, optimizing operations and processes, and delivering actionable business insights.
Strategic execution, planning & change management: Key contributor and influencer of the business strategy through account planning, regional reviews, monthly & quarterly executive reviews, and other initiatives. Ensure planning, landing and reviews of prioritized business commitments are accomplished.
Executive office management:
Lead cross-functional and strategic projects to support the executive leader and drive measurable results that deliver business impact for the broad organization. Support strategic planning process, rhythm of business, coordinate executive partner meeting briefs, action items, and other executive office functions.
Business Operations Excellence:
Trusted change advisor and a thought leader around topics such as compliance, readiness, training, organizational policy education, and operating with a high bar of quality around streamlined end to end processes.
Financial Management:
Lead fiscal planning processes for revenue & OPEX, in partnership with finance and in alignment with GPS guidance. Review business performance and support financial management of the team's budgets. Ensure leader accountability for revenue and operational expenditure (OpEx) forecast accuracy.
People & Culture:

Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 12+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 15+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.   • The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900
  • $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600
  • $303,600 per year.
