JOB MISSION

Pacific Lifestyle Homes is seeking a Business Systems Manager responsible for the administration, optimization, and strategic development of the company's ERP system and related business applications. This role ensures that core systems effectively support financial and operational processes across the organization. As Business Systems Manager , you will serve as a critical bridge between business operations and technology, partnering with Finance, Construction, and Purchasing teams to improve workflows, enhance data integrity, and drive adoption of system-based solutions. This role requires a balance of business process understanding, systems expertise, project management capability, and strong interpersonal influence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ERP

& Systems Ownership Administer and maintain ERP system, including configuration, workflows, and user access Ensure system reliability, performance, and data integrity Own how core business processes are executed within systems Business Process Improvement Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve workflows Translate business needs into scalable, system-enabled solutions Lead initiatives to streamline and standardize processes Reduce reliance on manual workarounds and improve system utilization Project Management & System Implementations Lead planning and execution of system-related projects, including: ERP implementations and upgrades New module rollouts System integrations and enhancements Define project scope, timelines, and priorities in coordination with stakeholders Manage cross-functional project teams and external vendors Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives Drive user adoption and ensure successful transition to new processes and systems Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a trusted partner to Finance, Construction, and Purchasing leaders Facilitate alignment between business needs and system capabilities Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Influence adoption of improved processes and tools across the organization Systems Integration & Data Flow Manage integrations between ERP and other business systems Ensure accurate, consistent data flow across platforms Troubleshoot and resolve system and interface issues Data Integrity & Governance Ensure data is accurately entered and consistently structured at the source Establish and enforce standards for system usage and data input Partner with BI/data team to support downstream reporting Vendor & System Management Serve as primary contact for ERP and application vendors Lead vendor coordination for implementations, upgrades, and issue resolution Evaluate and recommend tools to improve operational efficiency User Support & Training Provide system training and ongoing user support Develop documentation and promote best practices Drive increased adoption and effective use of systems

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience 7-15+ years of experience in ERP systems, business systems, or applications management Experience in construction, homebuilding, or job cost environments strongly preferred Demonstrated experience leading system implementations or major system enhancements Experience managing cross-functional projects and working with external vendors Proven track record of improving business processes through system solutions Core Competencies Business Process & Operational Acumen Strong understanding of Finance and Operations workflows Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements Project Management & Execution Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and execute complex initiatives Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Results-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability Systems & Technical Capability Solid understanding of ERP systems, data structures, and integrations Ability to troubleshoot issues and translate technical concepts into business terms Interpersonal & Communication Skills Strong ability to work across departments and build relationships Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences Influence & Change Management Ability to drive adoption of improved processes and systems Comfortable challenging existing practices and leading change Ownership & Initiative Proactive and self-directed with strong accountability Takes full ownership of systems environment and outcomes Success Measures System-related projects are delivered effectively and adopted successfully ERP and related systems are stable, reliable, and well-utilized Business processes are increasingly standardized and system-driven Data is accurate and trusted across the organization Cross-functional teams view this role as a strong partner and leader

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We are an in-person culture with a core work schedule of 8:00am

• 5:00pm, including a required daily morning huddle that begins at 8:00am in-office.
