Job Description
Assistant Store Manager Reports to Store Manager Benefit Package includes: Health/Dental/Vision Insurance 401(k) Generous Paid Time Off Policy Employee Discount Program Paid Training Assistant Store Managers are responsible for assisting in supervising employees and running their store at a profit. To attract a clientele and move merchandise, Assistant Store Managers make sure that their store offers the customer service that satisfies the needs and desires of their guests while aligning with Verizon and TEAM's sales objectives and initiatives. Assistant Store Managers ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company's standards, staff are fully versed on the target for the day, and excellent customer care standards are met. Assistant Store Managers must live within a 40-mile radius within 60 days of starting the position. The essential physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in managing and motivating their staff to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Reviewing sales invoices by your next scheduled shift
- Leading by example, personally demonstrating sales success with an emphasis on integrity.
- Assisting in managing store revenue, including cash handling, deposit log, deposit reconciliation, drawer audits, reconcile discrepancies, PCA's and VSL's by the end of your next shift.
- Assisting in responding to guest complaints and comments within 24 hours or end of next scheduled shift
- Drive and Execute Sales and profits in compliance with goals set by TEAM.
- Assist in recruiting and taking part in new hire interviews for your store when needed ensuring your location is running at maximum optimal hours and staffing levels.
- Assisting in coaching/developing the employees that TEAM has made the decision to hire based on the needs of the business and for the best possible success of the location/business as a whole.
- Inspect what you expect.
- Assist the Store Manager in staying ahead of maintaining adequate store supplies.
- Assist in managing all inventory tasks, including trade ins being shipped daily, purchase orders, daily counts performed & employee awareness of what's in stock.
- Assist in ensuring any late opens or early closes are reported as soon as you're made aware.
- Assistant Store Managers are required to work a 38 hour work week unless taking approved time off.
