We offer both in-person and telehealth/virtual services. Our 12 clinicians provide compassionate, professional therapy/counseling to individuals, couples, families, adults, teens and children. UCA is honored to have provided help towards clients' goals of health, resilience, stability, personal growth, insight and relationship connections since 1988. (UCA), a busy mental health practice, is seeking a full-time Business Manager to support our thriving clinic! Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and listening) are essential. Successful applicants will also demonstrate strong time management, telephone, and computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Professional Office Suite, and QuickBooks is a must. Additionally, candidates will have the abilities to prioritize projects, multi-task, and exhibit professionalism in a confidential, HIPAA-compliant office setting.
The Business Manager will:
Ideally be a collaborative leader who values and demonstrates integrity, honesty, and inclusiveness. Have an overarching understanding of our business and its financial considerations. Manage the day-to-day accounting, finances, and operations of the business. Work closely and collaboratively with the clinic's managing partners (Shareholders) to set goals for the business, improve systems, and plan strategies to reach short and long term goals Knowledge and experience with any combination of: office management, business management, HR, medical billing, health insurance claims submission and follow-up, insurance credentialing, patient registration and scheduling, payroll and other accounting and bookkeeping tasks, revenue cycle management, or use of Electronic Health Records/Practice Management Software are highly valued. Ideal candidates will have earned an Associates Degree, BA, or BS degree in a field associated with the above areas of knowledge. Core tasks include, but are not limited to: 1. Mange Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Pay bills and complete employee payrolls Maintain accurate clinic banking and bookkeeping via QuickBooks Collaborate with UCA Accountant on submission of taxes Collaborate with Managed Billing team and managing shareholders to monitor clinic A/R, investigate insurance balance issues, and assist clients and clinicians with billing questions 2. Manage Administrative/Reception Staff Help to hire, train, orient, supervise, evaluate, and provide performance review feedback Manage staffing patterns, including vacation and leave time Follow UCA's personnel/HR policies and procedures 3. Credentialing of providers Credential new providers with insurance companies/panels Track and complete re-validation tasks for current providers' credentialing 4. Office Equipment and Building Manage contracts and serve a point person for vendors (i.e. copier; internet, phone, EHR, rent and lease agreements; document shredding; office cleaning services, etc.) Serve as liaison with office building owners/landlord to maintain appropriate building safety and maintenance Oversee office supplies 6. Learn and use practice management software to assist reception staff and clinicians with scheduling, clients' insurance, billing, and software use questions 7. Maintain and organize business records and personnel files
