  • Job Title: General Manager
  • Job Description
  • The General Manager directs, plans, manages, and optimizes the overall operation of the facility, providing ownership and oversight of all sales, production, and service functions.

This role is responsible for the financial performance of the business, the development and implementation of performance and efficiency metrics, and the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement. The General Manager also leads and develops team members, ensuring they have access to meaningful professional growth and training opportunities.

  • Responsibilities
  • + Direct and oversee the daily operations of the facility, including sales, production, and service functions, to ensure efficient and effective performance.

+ Take full responsibility for the financial results of the business, including monitoring performance and driving profitability.

+ Develop, implement, and manage performance and efficiency metrics to measure operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

+ Analyze operational data and report results, trends, and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear and timely manner.

+ Lead and manage production activities, ensuring fabrication and related processes meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

+ Provide strong leadership to all teams, including sales, production, and service, fostering collaboration and accountability.

+ Manage and optimize sales operations to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility, enhancing processes, workflows, and resource utilization.

+ Oversee production supervision to ensure schedules, output, and quality standards are consistently met.

+ Coordinate and manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality requirements are achieved.

+ Identify skills gaps and provide training and development opportunities to team members to support professional growth.

+ Promote a clean, safe, and family-oriented working environment that supports employee well-being and productivity.

  • Essential Skills
  • + Proven experience in general management or plant management within a production or fabrication environment.

+ Strong production management skills, including oversight of manufacturing processes and supervision of production teams.

+ Demonstrated sales management experience, with the ability to support and optimize sales performance.

+ Hands-on experience in fabrication operations, with an understanding of related processes and standards.

+ Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop diverse teams.

+ Experience in production supervision, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality, and safety requirements.

+ Continuous improvement mindset, with experience implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

+ Project management capabilities, including planning, organizing, and executing projects to successful completion.

  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + BG in fabrication environments, including familiarity with shop floor operations.

+ Experience with CNC processes or equipment in a production setting.

+ Knowledge of welding processes and their application in fabrication operations.

+ Ability to develop and deliver training to team members to enhance skills and performance.

+ Strong communication skills for reporting operational results and recommendations to leadership.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $200000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 401k match/HSAMedical, dental, and visionPTO/vacationPaid holidays
