Job Description

The Lincoln Community Center (LCC) is currently hiring an Executive Director to function as the Chief Operating Officer of this 501(c)( 3) organization.
Organization:
The Lincoln Community Center, Inc. is a multi-purpose community center located on the west side of Laramie. This non-profit, community-based organization is dedicated to serving members of the community as a location to provide programs and services related to the social, educational, recreational, cultural and health needs of the community.
Mission Statement:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Executive Director (hereafter referred to as Director) will function as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the organization, with all guidance and policies set forth by the Board of Directors. He or she is responsible for the implementation of all administrative management of the LCC. The Director will provide overall leadership for strategy, organizational development, implementation, and financial oversight. The Director will serve as the first and primary contact with business entities, tenants, and other users of the LCC. The Director will work in conjunction with the Board in order to uphold any long-term contractual obligations and agreements with long-term tenants and contractors.
Essential functions include:
  • Manage general operations of the LCC, including but not limited to, rental contracts and legal requirements with both short- and long-term tenants.
  • Run the day-to-day operations for the LCC.
  • Maintain current files on LCC activities, archives, contracts, policies, and board minutes.
  • Carry out administrative duties, including but not limited to: Filing paperwork (digitally and physically), answering the phone, answering emails, returning phone messages within 24 hours, returning emails within 24 hours during work hours, collecting the mail, and invoicing tenants and promptly paying bills.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Google Calendar with all events, including regularly scheduled events, one-time events, and Director's work schedule.
  • Ensure the LCC is well-maintained, safe, clean, and meets overall health and safety standards.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date website for the LCC.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance of the property including landscaping, janitorial tasks, snow removal, garbage pickup, and inspections such as hood vent or fire extinguishers.
  • Maintain and/or create social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • Attend monthly Board meetings to report-out to the Board. Assist the Board with these meetings, development of the agendas, materials, and other functions pertinent to board participation and responsibilities.
  • Oversee all bookkeeping, accounting, and financial activities

$40,000.00 per year
