Manage assigned grants. Focus is on fulfilling grant requirements and overseeing implementation of funding proposals.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or
G.E.D. 2.
Bachelor's degree preferred. 3. At least three years demonstrated successful experience in grant management or program maintenance required. 4. Demonstrated ability to write in a clear and concise manner. 5. Knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to a wide variety of grant applications. 6. Demonstrated background in the development and administration of program budgets. 7. Willingness to travel to remote locations. 8. Ability to live and work in a cross-cultural, rural Alaskan environment. 9. Ability to successfully carry out the duties described below.
Duties:
1. Prepares grant report forms and other grant requirements in final submittal form. 2. Responsible for implementation of grant proposals. 3. Disseminates necessary information to all relevant district personnel concerning grant program management. 4. Submits all required reports to appropriate district personnel and outside agencies in a timely manner. 5. Prepares for and represents the district in audit and compliance reviews for programs under departmental jurisdiction. 6. Assists in seeking funds in order to sustain programs once funding stops. 7. Perform other duties as assigned.
