•Candidates must be able to have a flexible schedule which may include weekends. The normal work schedule for this position will fluctuate depending on the needs of the program, but applicants can expect to work an average of twenty-five (25) hours per week. As a grant funded position, there is a limit on the number of hours that can be worked and cannot exceed the grant amount available for this position.

Non-ExemptSUMMARY:
Under the direction and supervision of the City Administration or designated department, the YEP Coordinator will be accountable for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of assigned temporary seasonal Youth workers, in compliance with the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) guidelines. This is an experienced clerical position in the city. Serves in a specialized field performing general administrative support work in compliance with WIB as well as work specific to the functions of the office.

Oversees and coordinates all aspects of assigned temporary seasonal Youth workers, in compliance with the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) guidelines. Serves as liaison between the City and the WIB and helps ensure compliance and reporting with regulations and funding. Preparation of budget and reports. Maintains written records and other correspondence. Attends meetings and prepares requisitions for necessary supplies and inventory as needed by program activities. Responsible for the recruitment, scheduling, training and monitoring hours and timesheets for workers. Performs related duties as assigned.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
