The Grant Coordinator is primarily responsible for supporting grant managers in the pre-award process and tracking and monitoring performance, deliverables, and spending in the post-award stage of grants and selective state appropriations awarded to Northwest Florida State College. This position is directly accountable to the Executive Director, Grants Development, for the following duties and responsibilities. Assists grant managers with creating and evaluating plans to meet grant deliverables. Leads, coordinates, monitors and tracks compliance efforts and effective grant management processes with project managers, administrators, grants development team, finance team, and other College staff involved in grant projects. Tracks Triumph-eligible certifications and completions and manages monthly Smartsheet uploads. Assists with research and writing for grant submissions. Ensures the successful transition of grants from the time of award to closeout, while working collaboratively with various areas and departments within the College. Manages all assigned project activities to ensure compliance with grant and contract requirements and on-time achievement of deliverables. Collaborates with grant managers about program changes or amendments to achieve grant deliverables. Assists with writing quarterly/annual narrative/financial reports and providing reports to the Grant Development team for submission, ensuring that all required reviews and approvals have been achieved. Maintains Grant Management SharePoint site as a system for tracking performance, deliverables and budgets, and engages grant manager and other College staff in use of system. Maintains current knowledge of related College policies and handbooks and funding agency documents and requirements; communicates relevant requirements to project directors and administrators. Assists with the development of the annual program budget, ensuring maximum utilization of the funds, and assists with the administration of Triumph budgets, including creating requisitions for supplies and services, preparing and submitting travel documents, and credit card transactions. As a part of the college's risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required. Perform other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of documented relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent budget and project management skills, such as maintaining detailed grant and contract files, reporting, and correspondence. Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Highly skilled in multitasking while maintaining attention to details.Additional Information:
