Staff Full Time Job Description The Coordinator of Shelter Resources at the Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine at Orange Park (LMU-OPCVM) is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of shelter-based clinical resources and services. This position serves as the primary liaison with shelter partners, managing lab schedules, animal use requirements, and the scheduling of faculty, staff, and students at shelter sites. The Coordinator oversees inventory and resource management at partner shelters and collaborates with affiliates to ensure smooth operations. The role is essential in maintaining safe, supportive, and efficient environments for shelters, faculty, staff, and students Required Qualifications Associate/Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine/Technology, Business Administration, or related field Veterinary clinical experience Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of university program goals and objectives Credentialed Veterinary Technician Relevant experience in higher education Experience in animal shelter administration or supervisory roles

Job Duties Serve as the primary liaison with partner shelters across the greater Jacksonville area Coordinate faculty, staff, and student schedules related to shelter-based teaching and clinical activities Oversee animal use requirements and ensure compliance with protocols Provide clinical care on an as needed basis Manage shelter-based inventory, ensuring resources are available and maintained appropriately Develop and implement shelter-specific policies and procedures in alignment with University and College standards Collaborate with community partners and organizations to enhance shelter-based teaching and clinical resources Represent
