Overview:
The Director of Grants Management is responsible for overseeing the College's grant efforts from federal, state and private sources. This includes proactively identifying potential funding sources, overseeing proposal development, applying for financial support, and providing post-grant reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with college leadership to manage the entire life cycle of the grants process, including identifying funding sources, gathering supporting information, creating grant applications in support of the strategic priorities of the College, and submitting post-grant reporting.
- Monitor area funding agencies for grant opportunities that fit current college programing and oversee all college submissions to local funders.
- Monitor the performance periods of grants, reporting deadlines, deadlines for submission of budgets and other materials required for grant continuation and reporting.
- Proactively meet with faculty and administrators to develop grant concepts, edit narratives and budgets, and instruct on approval and submission processes.
- Along with the Manager of Grants and Corporate Relations, federal grant consultants, and college cabinet members, set annual priorities, identify and schedule major and minor grant applications, and respond to strategic opportunities.
- Participate in the Office of Advancement sponsored events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience:
- At least three years of successful grant development and oversight with a preference for experience in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated success as a grant writer of competitive and complex grants from a variety of funding sources.
Education:
Bachelor's degree with masters preferred

This position is budgeted to pay $65,000 - $77,750 annually based upon skills, experience and abilities. We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support the needs of employees.
