What You Will Do As a Grants Analyst I, you will work under the direction of the Grants Division Manager in the identification, development, and management of grant opportunities for Carroll County Government and partner agencies. You will use your specialized knowledge to write, edit, review, and submit grant proposals and applications. After award, you will use your grant management skills to support compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Essential Duties Review, write, and submit grant proposals, meeting all grant submission deadlines. Monitor progress towards grant objectives and activities. Support accurate and timely fiscal and programmatic reporting for all grant funded programs. Monitor progress of grant objectives and activities. Communicate concerns to grant administrators. Assist the Grants Manager in providing grant management training to County and partner agencies to support grant compliance. Support grant development activities of the County and partner agencies. Research and communicate grant opportunities. Demonstrate understanding of State and Federal regulations and impact on County policies. Navigate the County's financial system and flag projects that are out of compliance. Coordinate work with Grants Manager to comply with County policies and priorities. Compile complex data from multiple sources to create reports, spreadsheets, and other complex documents. Analyze and interpret data. Foster collaboration and provide learning opportunities. Facilitate a supportive work environment. Independently ensure all work is complete and timely to achieve department goals. Review work of others to ensure that organizational standards are met. Additional Information Requires criminal background check as condition of employment. Must be able to provide own transportation as needed for local travel.
