We believe everyone deserves relationships free from violence and access to the support needed to live safely and independently. Safe Haven is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee grant compliance, reporting, data management, and funder stewardship. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the organization meets all grant requirements, accurately tracks program outcomes, and maintains strong relationships with funding partners. The Grants Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Deputy Director, Finance Department, Communications Director, leadership team, and Board of Directors to support the organization's sustainability and growth. While this position will provide collaborative support for development efforts, fundraising and donor engagement remain a shared organizational responsibility. Responsibilities Grant Management & Compliance
- Manage awarded grants and ensure compliance with all funding requirements.
- Monitor grant performance, deadlines, deliverables, and reporting schedules.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports.
- Maintain grant files and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with program and finance staff to ensure accurate grant tracking and reporting.
- Assist with grant budget monitoring and expenditure tracking.
- Ensure organizational compliance with grant agreements and funding regulations. Data Collection & Program Evaluation
- Collect, analyze, and report program data and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking grant performance measures.
- Prepare statistical reports and dashboards for funders, leadership, and the Board of Directors.
- Work with staff to ensure accurate and timely data entry and documentation.
- Identify trends, outcomes, and opportunities for program improvement. Funder Stewardship & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with grant funders and funding partners.
- Coordinate funder communications related to reporting, compliance, and grant performance.
- Assist with funder site visits, monitoring activities, and information requests.
- Ensure timely submission of all required supporting documentation. Development Support
- Collaborate with the Executive Director, Communications Director, leadership team, and Board of Directors to support resource development efforts.
- Assist with funder stewardship activities, sponsorship opportunities, donor engagement initiatives, and funding prospect research.
- Support the preparation of impact information, program outcomes, and funding updates used in development activities.
- Participate in organizational fundraising and donor appreciation events as requested. Organizational Leadership

- Maintain proficient knowledge of the organization's history, programs, services, and impact.
- Collaborate effectively with staff, volunteers, community partners, and stakeholders.

- Experience in grant management, grant compliance, program evaluation, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of grant reporting and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Commitment to the mission of serving survivors of domestic violence.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Pay:
