Contract / Grant Administration Position Summary This is a renewable position contingent upon grant funding. Under the supervision of the Division Chair for Math, Science, and Humanities and with the sponsorship of the Title V Grant. Oversee and support

STEM PLACE

by assisting any STEM students. Duties & Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to everyone who visits or calls the STEM Place. Become familiar with the variety of STEM resources. Maintain monthly inventory. Assist in student recruitment and retention by meeting with STEM faculty, giving class presentations, and other outreach STEM activities. Maintain and submit all STEM Place forms including surveys and timesheets. Make sure all STEM Place materials are secure before closing the STEM Place. Maintain student confidentiality. Maintain a professional environment.

SCHEDULE DETAILS

STEM Place hours are Monday - Thursday 8 am to 8 pm, & Fridays 10 am to 2 pm during the regular semester. Hours can vary according to needs. 29 max hours per week. Requires frequent standing, sitting, walking and continuous movement within the College and off-site locations. Requires frequent pushing and pulling of up to 10 lbs. Continuous handling of paper and paper materials required.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma required. Associate's or bachelor's degree in STEM is a plus. BA or MA in STEM preferred.
