Accounting/Grant Manager On-site | Dayton, OH $70k- $80k
Position Overview of Accounting/Grant Manager:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting/Grant Manager to oversee financial operations, including grant management, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable, and monthly financial reporting. The Accounting/Grant Manager plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, especially with grant-funded programs.
Key Responsibilities of Accounting/Grant Manager:
Manage all grant-related accounting, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and private grant requirements. Prepare monthly financial statements and support the annual audit. Reconcile credit card transactions and balance sheet accounts. Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collections. Collaborate with program staff to align expenses with funding sources. Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
Qualifications of Accounting/Grant Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required). 3+ years of accounting experience; nonprofit experience preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP and grant compliance. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
