Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Grants Administrator to support a leading academic medical institution within the Infectious Diseases division. This individual will play a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of clinical and research grants, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless collaboration across faculty, sponsors, and university partners. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in navigating complex sponsored research environments while leading and supporting administrative staff. Day-to-Day:
Manage day-to-day operations of Infectious Diseases clinical grants and restricted accounts Provide guidance on proposal development and grant submissions Review and monitor grant proposals for compliance with sponsor and university policies Analyze fund balances, burn rates, projections, carryovers, and close-outs Reconcile expenses to budgets and prepare journal entries (salary, non-salary, fringe, F&A) Prepare and review financial reports and invoices with Grants & Contracts Monitor award revenues and ensure accurate budget setup in Oracle Develop and manage clinical trial budgets for federal and industry studies Ensure compliance with Ryan White legislation and 340B program requirements Track expenditures and revenues; reconcile clinical charges with staff Serve as liaison between faculty, sponsors, and university departments Coordinate grant-related communications, meetings, newsletters, and web updates Submit personnel requests and assist with onboarding new staff and faculty Supervise administrative staff, conduct evaluations, and ensure compliance training Ensure compliance with time and effort reporting and Rutgers policies Support diversity, EEO, and institutional compliance initiatives
