Hours:
2pm-11pm Dock Worker The following training material has been generated based on the general duties/work instructions that could affect product safety, legality and /or quality systems. Team member(s) have been successfully trained on all items identified as key steps in the general duties/work instructions and understand the necessary competencies to complete daily task. Management of designee performing the training has successfully demonstrated the ability to understand and/or perform all items covered during training. If necessary, an interpreter will convey the information as needed.Necessary Competencies:

- This position is responsible for both the receiving of in-bound WIP loads and out-bound finished loads.
- This position is critical in the production process to ensure product is moved to and from the production floor in the correct sequences (FIFO) based on production schedule and Julian/kill dates.
DISCUSSION POINTS
Examples:
- Ensure dock areas are cleaned daily.
- Route freezer product to meet FIFO production requirements.
- Able to work overtime as needed.
- Ensure that all products meet temperature requirements prior to shipping.
- Ensure that all trailers are pre-cooled at 40 degrees or below prior to loading. Also, document trailer conditions.
- Replace any torn boxes prior to shipping unless product is contaminated. If contaminated product is identified, isolate the product and notify your supervisor and QA immediately for product disposition.
- Must follow all guidelines related to SSOP s, GMP s, PPE s, etc.
- Must follow all rules in line with the company handbook, including attendance, break times, etc.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a hot/cold or wet/dry environment
- Must accurately fill out BOL s, incoming product temps, incoming load sheet and all other required paperwork
- Must be able to work under stressful conditions, where prioritizing and multitasking is necessary Hold procedures must always be followed.
Physical Requirement:
- Must be able to obtain a forklift and pallet jack license
- Standing and/or walking during the entire shift.
- Requires considerable reaching, lifting,
- Work in wet, cold environment.
