About the Opportunity We are working with a leading energy manufacturer on the addition of 5 Inventory Control Clerks / Cycle Counters at their operations in Goodyear, AZ. This is a hands-on position focused on physically counting parts, components, and materials across both the warehouse and production line. We are looking for reliable individuals who are comfortable working within a busy manufacturing or warehouse environment and can be quickly trained on the site's inventory-counting processes. The initial contract will be for 2 months on a rolling W2 basis, with the potential for extension depending on project requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform physical cycle counts of parts, components, and materials Count inventory across warehouse, storage, and production line-side locations Verify physical inventory quantities against system or inventory records Identify and report inventory discrepancies Support inventory reconciliation and stock accuracy activities Record count results accurately Assist with recounts where discrepancies are identified Work alongside warehouse, materials, and production teams Follow site procedures and health & safety requirements Support additional inventory and material-control activities when required What We're Looking For Previous experience within one or more of the following environments would be beneficial: Warehouse operations Manufacturing Inventory control Cycle counting Material handling Stockroom operations Shipping & receiving Production or assembly environments You do not need to be a senior inventory professional. Our client is looking for individuals who are reliable, accurate, and comfortable physically working around parts and materials. Preferred Experience Previous cycle counting or physical inventory experience Warehouse or manufacturing experience Inventory Control Clerk / Inventory Associate experience Material Handler experience Experience using barcode or RF scanners Basic experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory systems Ability to accurately record and communicate inventory quantities Key Skills Strong attention to detail Comfortable with repetitive physical counting Good basic numerical skills Reliable and punctual Able to follow clear processes and instructions Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Able to work within an active warehouse/manufacturing environment Strong focus on accuracy Contract Details 2-month rolling contract W2 employment Hourly paid Based onsite in Goodyear, AZ Fast interview and onboarding process Potential for contract extension based on project requirements
