Job Description

Inventory Clerk Anaheim, CA | Full-Time | Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm •Temp to hire role upon meeting required qualifications during probation period• Join a Growing Manufacturing Team Fire and Gas Detection Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support our warehouse and inventory operations in Anaheim, California. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, receiving materials, performing cycle counts, and ensuring smooth inventory flow throughout our manufacturing facility. What You'll Do Receive, inspect, label, stage, and organize incoming inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/MRP systems. Perform inventory transfers, adjustments, and reconciliations. Conduct monthly cycle counts and support inventory audits. Receive and verify shipments against packing slips and documentation. Support production and shipping teams by staging materials and fulfilling work orders. Rotate stock using
FIFO/LIFO
methods and maintain Kanban systems. Identify and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or quality concerns. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Assist with inventory planning and warehouse organization initiatives. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing environment. Current forklift certification required. Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and warehouse operations. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kanban, or similar inventory methodologies is preferred. Understanding of warehouse safety practices and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to consistently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Why Join Us? $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
