Inventory and Packing Supervisor Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory / Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse, inventory, and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments, supporting production material flow, and ensuring materials are properly tracked and stored throughout the facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inventory Control Receive and inspect incoming raw materials for accuracy and quality. Verify quantities and material types against packing slips and purchase orders. Label, tag, and identify inventory materials. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory transactions. Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories. Investigate and report inventory discrepancies. Shipping & Receiving Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments. Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments. Maintain shipping and receiving documentation. Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production departments. Ensure materials are properly stored and organized. Production Support Deliver raw materials and supplies to production areas. Prepare raw materials for manufacturing processes. Support work-in-progress (WIP) inventory counts. Ensure production supplies are stocked and available as needed. Keep pallets and staging areas organized throughout the shift. Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Conduct visual inspections of work areas and materials. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Required Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer and data entry skills. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills for counting and inventory transactions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse, or material handling experience. Experience with inventory management systems or ERP software. Forklift experience and/or certification preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Work Environment Fast-paced warehouse and production setting. Exposure to moving equipment, manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and other industrial conditions.
