Full Job Description Summary:
The Quality Control Associate is a pivotal role in upholding the company's highest quality standards. In this role, the Quality Control Associate is responsible for thoroughly inspecting and verifying orders, minimizing errors, and the overall efficiency of our operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Thoroughly review and conduct inspections of each order prior to dispatch, identifying and resolving any inconsistencies. Ensure every item in an order aligns with the designated size and part number, eliminating potential mismatches. Collaborate closely with the Inventory Controller to provide insight on optimal storage locations, particularly for items frequent of error. Confirm that each order has the correct item quantities. Address and resolve any inconsistencies to avert inventory issues. Guarantee that every customer order aligns with shipment documentation in both completeness and specification. Communicate errors or patterns to strategic leaders, warehouse managers, and/or the corporate office as needed.
Order Finalization:
Examine, package, label, and prepare orders for dispatch. Make certain that every item undergoes visual inspection, accurate labeling, and is positioned in the assigned staging zone. Perform other duties assigned. Work mandatory overtime as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a distribution, logistics, or related role.
Industry knowledge:
Familiarity with the electrical supply industry is preferred. Strong decision-making and analytical skills Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and team collaboration.
