As a Receiver , you play a critical role in our warehouse operations by ensuring products are received accurately, inspected for quality, and properly stored for efficient order fulfillment. Full time , 5 days/week, Sunday-Thursday, Sunday 4AM-12:30/1:30PM and Mon - Thurs 8AM-4:30/5:30
PM Receiving & Verification:
Accurately count, inspect, and verify incoming products against receiving documents to ensure inventory accuracy.
Quality Assurance:
Inspect products to ensure all items meet company standards for quality and freshness.
Inventory Management:
Prepare products for storage by ensuring pallets are safe, stable, and properly labeled with system-generated labels.
Product Put-Away:
Safely store products in designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper inventory rotation and ensuring older product remains accessible for order selection.
Equipment Operation:
Safely move products using handcarts, pallet jacks, and forklifts between storage, production, and dock areas.
Organization:
Sort and store products on racks, bins, and pallets according to size, type, grade, ripeness, or product code. Receiver Qualifications Age (Required) : Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience (Preferred) : 1 year of experience with produce, a warehouse environment, receiving product, or material handling.
Equipment Operation :
Ability to learn and safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material transport equipment.
Work Ethic and Reliability :
Must demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety and accuracy in all tasks.
Teamwork and Collaboration :
Ability to work effectively in a team environment to meet operational goals and maintain productivity standards. Work Environment This position is performed in a refrigertaed warehouse environment and involves exposure to varying temperatures, moisture, and wet floors. Work is fast-paced and physically active.
