Balance Staffing is hiring an experienced Inventory Clerk for a leading manufacturer in the San Jose area. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with hands-on SAP experience to join a fast-paced warehouse environment with a clear path to hire.

What You'll Do

Inventory Tracking & Data Entry — Record daily inventory transactions, including receiving, transfers, adjustments, and issuance of materials into internal databases and ERP systems (SAP).

Auditing & Cycle Counts — Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and maintain high data accuracy.

Warehouse Organization — Manage storage area layouts and organization to streamline parts retrieval and boost operational efficiency.

Discrepancy Resolution — Identify, investigate, and report inventory variances, shortages, or damaged components, coordinating with shipping, receiving, and procurement teams.

Compliance & Safety — Adhere strictly to company safety policies, security regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the warehouse environment.

What We're Looking For

Prior experience in an inventory, warehouse, or materials-handling role

Hands-on experience with SAP (or a comparable ERP system) required

Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies independently

Comfortable working in a warehouse setting; able to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed

Strong communication skills for coordinating across shipping, receiving, and procurement

Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to follow SOPs consistently
