$16.90-$18.90 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule:
Weekdays and Saturdays as needed; closed Sundays Alan's Lawn & Garden Center is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk / Inventory Specialist to help with receiving, inventory control, parts organization, bin-location maintenance, price tag updates, showroom stocking, order tracking, and general support for our repair, parts, showroom, and assembly departments. This is a good position for someone who is organized, accurate with details, comfortable using a computer, and enjoys working in a hands-on shop, parts, showroom, or warehouse environment. What You'll Do- Assist the Logistics Manager with receiving incoming parts, equipment, and supply shipments.
- Check shipments against purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, and vendor paperwork.
- Enter receiving and inventory information into company systems.
- Maintain and update bin locations to support accurate inventory tracking and efficient parts lookup.
- Update price tags, shelf labels, and product information as directed.
- Help stock, label, organize, and maintain inventory areas, including the showroom.
- Assist with inventory counts and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Help track vendor orders, special orders, backorders, credits, and returns.
- Communicate with managers, technicians, parts staff, and sales staff about inventory availability.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with filing, scanning, and other inventory-related paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as needed. What We're Looking For

- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Prior inventory, warehouse, parts, receiving, retail, or repair shop experience is helpful but not required. Preferred Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Inventory control
- Receiving or warehouse work
- Parts department work
- Outdoor power equipment
- Automotive, small engine, or equipment parts
- Purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, vendor returns, bin locations, price tags, or shelf labels Physical Requirements This job may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, organizing inventory, stocking showroom merchandise, handling parts, and lifting or moving items as needed.
