Pay:
$23 - $24/hr Contract to Hire Job Description Join our team as a Materials Associate in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa, CA, contributing to a leading defense technology company dedicated to transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. This role involves a day shift from 7am to 5pm, with opportunities for overtime. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will play an integral part in streamlining the movement of materials from the warehouse to production lines. Responsibilities Process shipping and receiving at the Santa Ana and/or Costa Mesa locations as needed. Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product. Ensure material movement across sites is accurately transacted for each move. Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution. Complete cycle counts and conduct all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority. Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks. Expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production needs. Essential Skills 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tools. Familiarity with inventory management including Lot, Serial, and Batch tracking in high mix, high production volumes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tools. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Forklift experience. Valid driver's license. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with material handling and cycle counting. Familiarity with pallet jacks and NetSuite. Why Work Here?
