Onsite Job Description Job Description:

Under close supervision, responsible for tasks in inventory management (Consumables, chemicals, samples, etc.) and accurate inventory control, processing requests leading to inventory movement on and off site and fulfilling customer metric reporting. Perform inventory management related functions such as monitoring slow moving and dead inventory, conduct cycle counting, yearly physical inventories, and reporting. Provide daily customer service functions and communicates with the customer relative to inventory management. Job Description In this role, you will report to the Area Operations Manager and will work closely with the Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel and our customers to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. What we are looking for

Education:

A high school diploma or GED is required

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service experience is required

Collaboration Tool:

Microsoft Teams experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Digital literacy including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel. Solid understanding and experience in either shipping, inventory, or purchasing.

In this role you will:

Facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment and enter orders into computer systems, Web, etc. Receive inbound shipments from UPS, FedEx, and other common carriers Resolve all shipping errors. Manage customers warehouse inventory, including delivery product replenishment Support multiple customers in a geographic area will require driving between facilities to perform Inventory task Perform additional inventory management-related functions such as monitoring slow-moving and dead stock, conducting cycle counting and yearly inventories, and reporting, etc. Perform shipping coordination activities such as answering customer calls, and handling routine issues. Utilize customer computer systems in fulfillment of job duties Meet goals and objectives: safety, performance, and quality. Perform other duties as assigned.
