Grace Rose Farm is one of America's leading online rose nurseries, dedicated to bringing exceptional roses and an outstanding customer experience to gardeners across the country. We're looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Inventory and Product Listing Administrator who enjoys working both behind a computer and outdoors. This is a unique role that combines inventory management, e-commerce, product research, and hands-on support in our fulfillment operation. ResponsibilitiesInventory Management- Manage incoming and outgoing inventory using our inventory management systems.
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Physically count and verify plant inventory throughout the nursery.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and help maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with inventory planning and organization throughout the fulfillment facility. Shopify & Product Administration
- Build and maintain products within Shopify.
- Update product information, pricing, images, variants, and inventory levels.
- Ensure all product listings are accurate, organized, and customer-friendly.
- Help maintain product collections and online merchandising as needed. Product Research
- Research rose varieties and horticultural information to ensure product descriptions and specifications are accurate.
- Verify plant characteristics such as fragrance, bloom form, growth habit, disease resistance, breeding information, and care requirements.
- Work with the marketing and product teams to maintain high-quality product content. Live Shopping & Sales Support
- Assist in preparing inventory for live social media shopping events.
- Count and organize products prior to live sales.
- Help coordinate inventory during live events to ensure accurate availability.
- Support the team behind the scenes during livestreams and promotional events. General Operations
- Work closely with fulfillment, customer service, and marketing teams.
- Help improve inventory processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and accurate work environment.
- Assist with additional projects as the business continues to grow.
- Travel between the Fillmore and Santa Paula locations as operational needs require. Required travel time between work locations will be treated as compensable work time, and approved business mileage and expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy and applicable law. Qualifications We're looking for someone who is:
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable learning new software and technology.
- Highly proficient with computers.
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Gmail, etc.).
- Familiar with Windows-based computers.
- Experience with Shopify is highly preferred (or the ability to learn quickly).
- Able to research information thoroughly and accurately.
- A strong problem solver who takes initiative.
- Comfortable working both indoors at a computer and outdoors in the nursery.
- Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the essential functions of the position, including regularly walking through indoor and outdoor nursery areas, conducting physical inventory counts, and occasionally lifting or moving plants and boxes weighing up to approximately 40 pounds.
- Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team member. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management.
- Experience in e-commerce.
- Interest in horticulture, gardening, or agriculture.
- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with inventory software or ERP systems.
