We run a lean, fast-moving operation and need someone who takes full ownership of our inventory — knowing exactly what we have, what's out in the field, and what's come back. If materials go missing, run out mid-job, or aren't accounted for, that's on this role. You'll also keep our equipment maintained and our vehicle(s) serviced and road-ready.
The core of this job:
every item that leaves this facility is logged. Every item that returns is verified. Discrepancies don't sit — they get resolved. If you're the kind of person who loses track of things or waits to be reminded, this isn't the role for you.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Maintain real-time inventory accuracy in FieldFlo and online tracking platforms — every item has a count, a location, and a status at all times Log all outbound material and equipment to job sites — what goes out, which crew, which project, and when Verify and reconcile all returns — inspect condition, update inventory records, and flag missing or damaged items immediately Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming materials — PPE, poly sheeting, HEPA filters, equipment consumables, and disposal supplies Stage and kit job-site material packages by project specs and crew requirements before dispatch Monitor par levels and reorder triggers; research current market pricing and shop vendors to identify best-value sourcing Perform routine maintenance and repairs on remediation equipment — HEPA vacuums, negative air machines, air scrubbers, and dehumidifiers; log service history and flag units needing outside repair Maintain company vehicle(s) — track oil changes, inspections, and scheduled service; coordinate repairs and keep maintenance logs current Maintain SDS binders, hazardous material segregation, and regulatory storage compliance. Inventory Accountability You treat every item as accounted for until proven otherwise. Experience with check-out/check-in systems, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution in a fast-moving environment. Digital Systems Fluency Comfortable in FieldFlo, online tracking tools, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms. You log accurately, update in real time, and don't let the system fall behind the physical reality. Mechanical Aptitude Comfortable performing basic equipment repairs and routine vehicle maintenance. You know when to fix it yourself and when to escalate to a shop. Pricing & Sourcing Savvy Able to research current material pricing, compare vendors online, and communicate findings clearly. You understand that buying smart directly impacts job margin.
BONUS POINTS
