DESCRIPTION
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing inventory transactions within the ERP system, supporting production, shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring inventory accuracy through timely and accurate transaction processing. 2.0 ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
Coordinate with Production, Shipping, Quality, Finance and Commercial to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions. Process receiving transactions and update inventory records in the ERP system. Create, process and complete production job cards in ERP Generate shipping packing lists, Bills of Lading and required shipping documentation Maintain customer inventory spreadsheets and provide inventory information as required. Process warehouse transfers and inventory location changes Prepare processing reports and month-end inventory reports as assigned Maintain organized inventory records and filing in accordance with company procedures. Provide inventory information to traders, Operations & General Manager, as needed. Communicate with tolling Customers as needed. None. 5.0 WORKENVIRONMENT
This position operates in an office within a manufacturing facility. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee is required to spend a considerable amount of time in the manufacturing facility and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. 6.0 PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, during normal business hours.
