Merritt Controls, Inc. provides innovative custom human interface solutions, including precision engineered joystick controllers and operator armchair systems, for a wide variety of applications.
Job Purpose:
Perform stock keeping duties in central inventory to facilitate and improve the smooth workflow in the factory. This includes materials put away and flow of production materials from inventory to the production floor, general floor organization and clean up and maintaining associated records. Accountable for ensuring components are delivered within the appropriate timeframe and quantity requirements to support production.
Responsibilities:
Shop floor Material handler: Picking parts for staging of Shop Floors. Allocation and distribution of production orders meeting required deadlines. Filling and delivery of assembler's parts requisitions Complete responsibility for the general organization and clean condition of the shop floor as it pertains to inventory. Inventory levels Proficient in inventory control and organization practices Keeps accurate and up to date inventory quantities. Investigates discrepancies Execute the cycle counts weekly Maintains clean and organized inventory locations and boxes Filling of bench stock and pantry on a weekly basis. Pick pack ship Picking spare parts orders. Receiving Put receiving away on receipt date to maintain inventory accuracy
Skills/Qualifications:
High School Degree 2-4 years of inventory experience Ability to work independently Excellent math skills Highly neat and organized Reports to : Purchasing Manager Interacts with: All production personnel Purchasing Quality Control Manufacturing The benefits offered by the company include: Clean and Friendly Work Environment 401K Savings Plan with Company Matching Profit sharing
