Job Description

Job Title:
Supply Chain Associate - 2nd Shift Job Description Support and maintain accurate product needs, inventories, and replenish supplies located on nursing units and other user areas based on established par levels. Recognize and communicate changes in supply needs, reporting recommendations to the supervisor for investigation and adaptation. Process all supply requests that are not automated via the Order Entry System for supplemental inventory needed to replenish assigned areas, including open shelf par cart and supplemental Pyxis supplies based on unit needs. Responsibilities Ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for medical and surgical supplies. Track and monitor supply and equipment order requests. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supply and equipment orders. Troubleshoot supply and equipment issues and resolve them in a timely manner. Essential Skills Experience in supply chain management. Proficiency in inventory management. Ability to use RF scanner technology. Fluency in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of medical supplies. Warehouse or stocking experience required. Hospital experience preferred. Work Environment This position is based at a hospital environment where the associate will be around medical supplies. The role requires working on one's feet for long periods and staying vigilant for emergencies. The 2nd shift is from 3pm - 11pm, with a rotating weekend schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
