• 4:30 PM Industry warehousing & distribution (Transportation and Material Moving Occupations) Reference number S_175101 Spherion Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join a golf cart service department located in The Villages.

As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and smooth operational flow. If you have an ability to follow directions, physical strength to lift up to 50 lbs., and a keen eye for details, we encourage you to apply for this position. This is a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm with a starting pay rate of $15.44 per hour. Worksite may vary at locations within The Villages.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records of golf cart parts, equipment, and accessories.
• Receive, inspect, and count incoming inventory shipments to verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Organize and categorize inventory items to ensure easy accessibility and quick retrieval.
• Perform routine inventory audits to identify discrepancies, reconcile stock levels, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist in unloading and storing inventory deliveries in designated storage areas. ...

PM Skills:

• Previous experience in the automotive or power sports industry.
• Familiarity with inventory management software or RF scanners.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with the sales and service teams.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or inventory role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry tasks.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
