Full-Time, 40-48 hours per week, 5-6 days per week About the Position We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused team member to join our growing independent used car dealership. This is a unique position that combines inventory management with the opportunity to support our sales team as a part-time Sales Associate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, staying organized, solving problems, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Primary Responsibilities Inventory Management (Primary Role) Manage incoming vehicle inventory from purchase through front-line readiness. Coordinate vehicle inspections, mechanical repairs, detailing, and photography. Schedule and communicate with outside vendors, repair facilities, and transport companies. Monitor inventory status and ensure vehicles are retail-ready in a timely manner. Track repair progress and follow up to minimize downtime. Perform quality control inspections before vehicles are offered for sale. Maintain clean, organized vehicle displays and lot presentation. Assist with vehicle merchandising and online listing preparation. Move, fuel, and organize inventory as needed. Sales Support (Secondary Role) Support the Sales Manager during busy periods by assisting with customer traffic and daily dealership operations. Cover the Sales Manager's responsibilities during scheduled vacations, PTO, or other absences. Assist with customer greetings, vehicle demonstrations, and test drives as needed. Help facilitate the sales process and ensure customers receive a professional buying experience. Work from multiple sales desks within the dealership to help keep the sales process moving efficiently. Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and dealership team to provide seamless customer service. Qualifications Preferred Experience Customer service experience (automotive, hospitality, retail, or similar industries). Mechanical knowledge or automotive repair experience preferred. Experience coordinating repairs, service, or vehicle inventory is a plus. Sales experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to train the right person.
